Salma Yousef

Salma is a barrister specialising in Domestic and international Criminal Law. She has advised on a number of rule of law projects in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa and is currently advising the British embassy on a project looking at justice system reform in the Balkans. She is also on the government Future Leaders Scheme and is co-chair of the CPS Muslim Staff Network.

Given her interest in human rights, Salma is an Ambassador for ‘Remembering Srebrenica. She has previous held the position of Member of Youth Parliament, School Governor and sat on the Executive Committee for the Association of Muslim Lawyers. She is a Founder Member of Women in Criminal Law in the UK. She has recently been appointed to the Valuation Tribunal as her first judicial appointment.
