Islam Channel welcomes Mr Tariq Usmani as an honoured Judge for the Islam Channel Business Awards 2019. Mr Usmani will be part of the Islam Channel Judging panel held on the 21st January and 18th February 2019.
Tariq Usmani is the CEO and co-founder of the Henley group of companies. He began working in property development in his early twenties and Henley Homes plc was incorporated in February 1999. Under Tariq’s leadership, Henley has been steered successfully through the recent economic downturn.
He is founding chairman of BCBN (Better Community Business Network), a registered charity which acts as a networking forum for government, business professionals and charities.
Tariq is Chair of the West London Islamic Centre and heads up its ambitious New Masjid project. In a personal capacity, Tariq has helped mentor several ex-offenders over the last decade and is also a trustee of the Feltham Community Chaplaincy Trust, a multi-faith charity based at Feltham Young Offenders Institution.
Islam Channel Business Awards are now open for nominations with 12 categories to select from, offering businesses a diverse choice. Nominations close on the 31st December 2018 and the first round of judging will be held on 21st January 2019, unveiling the shortlisted nominees for the Business Awards.
